Vinewood Stables Special Event Venue, operated by A Divine Event, is hiring Day-of Wedding Directors. This position is part-time, weekends with advance flexible scheduling. Day-of Wedding Directors coordinate the rehearsal practice, ceremony processional and run the reception time line, by communicating with and queuing the bridal party and vendors.

We run wedding rehearsals and events Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Applicants must be available a minimum of two Saturdays per month in our busy spring and fall seasons, along with availability to run the rehearsal practice the afternoon before wedding day. The Wedding Director works directly with our Management and Catering team to provide excellent service to the Bride and Groom, while delivering all of the guaranteed products and services from A Divine Event.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Day-of event coordination alongside our venue management team
- Providing excellent service to the Bride and Groom (including food & beverage service for Bride and Groom)
- Conducting wedding rehearsals the day before each assigned event
- Communicating with and queuing all bridal party and vendors
- Commit to work at least two Saturdays per month in Spring and Fall
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum formal education of high school diploma or GED with college degree highly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience serving as a Wedding Director/Event Planner/Event Coordinator
- Computer literate, Microsoft Office proficiency required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and client interfacing skills
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
- Warm and personable; demonstrates self-confidence; shows energy and enthusiasm
- Professional and pleasant phone manner
- Comfortable interfacing with a diverse group of individuals
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Highly proactive and willing to take initiative
Must have reliable transportation to report to work.
