Mercedes-Benz Stadium is the new home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United and opened for its first events in August 2017. The stadium is also host of numerous other sports and entertainment events. Position Summary
The Private Events Planner Specialist will support the Mercedes-Benz Stadium Private Events department by performing daily operational and administrative tasks in order for the department to function at an efficient level when selling and executing Private Events for MBS.
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily coordination of Private Events
• Facilitate all individual client information into our digital database
• Work with Private Events Team on creating unique sales pitch and site visits opportunities for new business
• Work with Private Events Team on creating detailed event folders with all client/group information for every event
• Coordinate client giveaways/thank you gifts/milestone memories for MBS Private Events clients
• Build call lists for the team from a local and national perspective for business development
• Facilitate and monitor MBS Events Email; prompt and thorough replies within 24-48 business hours; assign PE Team Member
• Build Atlanta area competition analysis for files to review and compare
• Coordinate with Private Events team on monthly/quarterly marketing and sales outreach efforts
• Track and send out all post-event recap surveys to clients; provide monthly reports
• Handle keeping Private Events office and event needs materials ordered and in stock
• Assist with private event operations/event executions as needed

• One to Two (1-2) years' experience with an event team or customer service-related department
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment as well as working independently
• Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays
• Candidate must have a strong work ethic, with the ability to adjust on the fly, and a desire to build a career in professional sports/events
• Must have a professional demeanor and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be creative, detail-oriented, and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be able to take constructive criticism and change direction to suit operational and client needs
• Must have a thorough understanding of the complexity of events and the hours that go into successful planning and activation
• Must attend all department and client meetings as necessary
• Supervise support team and provide ongoing training and support as needed
• Perform additional duties as may be assigned
