Job Description
A Website & Graphic Design Assistant at Moxie Tonic Marketing is a hands-on design position where you will deliver support to the senior web design and development team. This will allow you to acquire the necessary skills and experience to advance to the level of a Web & Graphic Designer or Assistant Project Manager.
We’re looking for a creative, responsible, accountable and driven assistant who wants to be a long-term, respected contributor to our team. You’ll combine your existing skills and a great collaborative environment into success in an exploding market for web design search engine optimization, and digital marketing. You will be challenged every day, and you will develop the skills and track record that you can be proud of! You will work to support our team of designers with both administrative and hands-on web and print design tasks for our growing set of clients.
This means you’ll gain valuable experience in web design and online marketing, and grow your skills as designer. At the same time, you’ll take ownership in exceeding Client expectations – on time and on budget. You will quickly become a design and marketing guru and will spend part of your time learning the latest design best practices and project management tools.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with creative director, web developer, and copywriter in creating marketing assets for websites, print materials and third-party ads
Create digital graphics using Photoshop for various platforms including social media, email marketing, digital marketing ads, and blog content
Make content changes, format blog posts, perform website updates as directed by the Web Development Team
Complete additional projects and tasks as needed as assigned by supervisor/manager
Curate and edit stock photography for use in website and social media projects
Attend in-person and Zoom meetings with the creative team

Who has knowledge of UX principles, including best practices
Who will fully participate in our Project Management System - recommending adjustments to our process in order to improve flow, production, client results, and client satisfaction
Required Skills:
3+ years of WordPress front-end design experience.
Ability to take direction, meet tight deadlines, and work efficiently
Possess strong conceptual skills, high-level sense of design, layout, photo editing, and typography
Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing environment
Passion to keep learning and keep up with design trends
Tenacity to problem solve and to track down answers
Must have experience and proficient knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and WordPress
Must have experience and proficient experience working in Divi, Elementor, and BeaverBuilder.
Must provide a high-speed Internet connection
Qualifications:
3+ years of related work experience
Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design
Knowledge and experience with WordPress and front-end builders like Divi Themes, Elementor, and Beaver Builder.
Experience with photo retouching and basic HTML coding is a huge plus
