In this position you will create and maintain web applications to support the Navy’s 3-M Program. These include in-house products and rapid prototypes as well as web applications distributed to the Fleet.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen living in the Hampton Roads, VA area and be able to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- At least 3 years' experience
Responsibilities:
- Craft responsive and dynamic web applications using the Angular framework
- Create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
- Engage in sprint planning, peer code reviews, and solution collaboration
Required Skills:
- Angular 14+
- HTML5
- CSS3
- NPM
- Typescript/Javascript
- Responsive Web Development
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
- Strong skills in testing and debugging applications to ensure reliability
- Proficient in creating and improving user experience
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Telerik UI Tools
- LESS/Sass
- Bootstrap
- 508 compliance requirements
- Karma, Jasmine, or other unit testing tools
- DoD/Navy Experience
- Agile Scrum
- Git
- SQL Server
