Requirements:
- Build custom front-end website applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript according to provided UI designs.
- Develop custom themes for WordPress and Drupal.
- Create static front-end websites using Jamstack JavaScript frameworks like Astro, Nuxt, Next.js, and Gatsby.
- Develop front-end code for handoff to back-end developers using templating languages such as Twig and Blade.
- Utilize APIs to ingest and transform data from various sources for multiple digital platforms.
- Configure design systems using Tailwind CSS.
- Consulting with the client and team members regarding technical approaches, web performance, accessibility, and technical architecture.
- Creating and presenting technical strategies for client deliverables.
- Consult with UX and UI designers to ensure technical feasibility of designs and facilitate developer handoff.
- Create clear and understandable technical website documentation for other developers.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of libraries/frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, Vue.js, React
- Experience with Jamstack JavaScript frameworks (Astro, Nuxt, Next.js, Gatsby)
- Familiarity with templating languages such as Blade and Twig
- Strong understanding of web design and user experience fundamentals
- Ability to translate layouts and wireframes into working code
- Proficiency with Git for code versioning
- Experience with digital design software (we use Figma)
- Familiarity with Higher Education CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Modern Campus, Hannon Hill Cascade, Terminal4, etc.)
- Familiarity with hosting platforms like Vercel, WP Engine, Acquia, Pantheon
- Experience with back-end frameworks like Laravel (nice to have)
- Web performance optimization and SEO knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary, Perks & Benefits:
Salary starts at $100,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
