Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of warehouse operations with a primary focus on production management. This includes leading and supervising staff, coordinating inventory management, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing overall efficiency to meet organizational goals. The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the overall efficiency, safety, and success of a warehouse operation. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to contribute to the success of the warehouse and the broader organization.

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership to warehouse and production staff, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Production Planning:
- Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement effective production plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure seamless integration of production schedules with warehouse operations.
Workflow Optimization:
- Streamline and optimize production workflows within the warehouse to enhance overall efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
Inventory and Production Coordination:
- Oversee inventory levels to support production schedules and prevent stockouts.
- Ensure efficient coordination between warehouse and production teams for smooth material flow.
Inhouse Fleet Oversight:
- Manage and oversee the in-house fleet, coordinate deliveries, ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of metal goods between production and warehouse facilities.
Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain product integrity.
- Conduct regular inspections and address quality issues promptly.
Safety and Compliance (Including OSHA Regulations):
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment for all warehouse activities.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for warehouse staff.
Employee Time Management:
- Implement and oversee time management systems for warehouse staff.
- Track and manage employee work hours, including breaks and overtime.
Equipment and Facility Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment, coordinate facility maintenance and repairs as needed.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse efficiency.
- Implement improvements based on performance metrics.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate activities and meet overall business goals.
- Provide regular updates to upper management on warehouse performance.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, warehouse activities, and performance metrics.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and other relevant data.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
- Collaborate with team members to implement changes and optimize workflows.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a plus.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,571.10 - $52,472.72 per year
