Warehouse Supervisor
Job Profile
As an Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising of the warehouse operations processes and responsible for supervising the work flow throughout the shift, meeting time commitments set forth by the company.
Responsibilities
- Schedules and assigned tasks for dock planning and setup.
- Responsible for ensuring finished goods are secured in an accurate and timely fashion in order to fulfill customer daily needs.
- Manage outbound shipments, all packaging materials and completes daily system entries accurately and timely.
- Proactive approach to maximize productivity opportunities, as well as, executing, in order to aid in facilitating and meeting annual operating plan.
- Lead develop and motive team to solve day-to-day issues reaching short/long term solutions for continuous process improvements of the operation. Provide daily feedback to management relating to shipping resources needed, machine performance and any issues impacting quality, safety and shipping goals.
- Responsible for leading team meetings, evaluation and development of employees. Actively look for opportunities to coach and counsel providing real time feedback.
- Develop staff by engaging employees, orienting new hires, and establishing a cross training schedule for employees to rotate job functions and drive a positive continuous improvement mind set.
- Track and evaluate employee performance through use of production reports using data driven approach to drive results.
- Manage employee schedules, time off request. Ensure attendance and disciplinary actions are done in timely manner. Responsible for wearing proper attire, always and maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring company policies.
- Participate/lead in continuous improvement projects.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Requirements/Key Experiences
- High school diploma or Equivalent
- 4 – 5 years of warehouse or shipping experience.
- At least 2 years of supervisory shipping/warehouse/logistics experience
- Conditions may include office environment, computer room, warehouse and shipping/receiving. Occasional exposure to dust, dirt, and other environmental factors is possible.
- Repetitive motion is required; may require twisting/bending/climbing
- May lift up to 50 lbs. periodically
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- This role has supervisory responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
