Warehouse Supervisor

Reporting directly to the senior management team, the Operations Director has functional authority over all Taylor Operations – logistics, automotive sequencing and sub assembly, quality containment and supply chain service activities - within the facility and at client locations as required.

Job Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. The goal is to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share.

Responsibilities

· Support investigation and actions of customer concerns

· Communications with customers through mediums like email or phone

· Responsible for on-the-job training of employees

· Ensure employees are following the process, work instructions, safety rules and policies.

· Conduct disciplinary corrective actions as needed

· Ensure employees are wearing proper PPE

· Ensure employees are communicated the work hazards

· Conduct monthly safety talks with all employees

· Completion of incident reports for any accidents or incidents

· Ensure forklift drivers are certified and completing pre-inspections of their equipment.

· Collection and submission of production reports

· Contact Staff Agencies, as necessary, to hire additional personnel for the related jobs

· Conduct daily pre-shift communication with reports

· Ensure time keeping system is up to date and accurate for payroll.

· Other duties can be assigned as necessary by the Operations Manager or designee.

Requirements Requested

· 3 to 5 years in automotive environment

· Effectiveness and proficiency in written and oral communications

· Excellence and proficiency in time management

· Computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite

· Ford CMMS experience an asset

· Knowledge of ISO Quality Standards

· Proven Warehouse Supervisory experience

· Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data

· Hands-on commitment to getting the job done

HOURS

• 1st Shift - 05:30-15:00

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
