SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Perform a variety of routine warehouse stocking, and transportation work in driving and delivering material in support of the warehouse/material distribution department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Maintain warehouse stock, receive deliveries, stock shelves, pull inventory for distribution.

Inspect truck and/or trailer for defects before and after trips and report any discrepancies indicating truck condition to Fleet Manager.

Perform a variety of duties in the operation of the Warehouse/Material Distribution Department including loading, transporting, and unloading of material - with or without a forklift, from the warehouse to the specified project site.

Must be able to maneuver forklift in and around tight corners and through work areas.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds

REQUIREMENTS:

Must present a positive, professional image to employees, customers, and clients on all levels.

Effective and accurate communications with GTS staff, Management, Customers and Vendors.

Have problem-solving skills and able to think on your feet.

Have a general working knowledge of computers.

Ability to work evenings and weekends.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Read, write, and speak the English language

Must have a valid driver’s license and meet DOT qualifications

Must be able to pass a nationwide background check and drug screen.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is performed in a temperature-controlled office, non-temperature-controlled warehouse, and in outdoor weather conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demand described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing a ladder, sitting for long periods while driving. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

TRAVEL

Travel is required with this position, primarily local during the business day although some out –of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Must possess a valid Driver’s License during the term of employment.

Forklift Certification

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
