Ice Cream Server/Cashier *Seasonal, Must Be Over 18*

Looking for a summer job that’s fun and keeps you cool? Froze Zone is the spot! We are a frozen yogurt and gelato shop, specializing in homemade gelato and Italian ice. We are looking to hire a person over the age of 18 who is able to work mornings (starting at 10:30 or 11:30).
This position is a seasonal position and officially begins in April and is ranging from April-late September/Early October. There is an option to pick up some limited hours at our second location (inside the Worcester Public Market) throughout the winter on weekends. (Opportunity to start as soon as March 1st, 2024 with a Friday morning shift at WPM.)

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take Ice Cream orders accurately and promptly
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handle cash and card transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area/backroom
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
