JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse &Fleet Specialist job duties include undertaking items related to fleet maintenance; facilitating the check-out process for rentals to customers; conducting the safety orientation; answering customer questions and concerns; and assisting customers who have an issue or emergency with their rental vehicle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comfort and ability to ride Slingshot – both automatic and manual transmission
• Check and add fluids (if necessary) to vehicles
• Perform routine vehicle preventative maintenance including tire changes, fluid checks, etc.
• Light maintenance of vehicle to include changing radio speakers, lock systems, etc.
• Ability to demonstrate technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities to define and perform necessary repairs
• Perform daily vehicle diagnostics
• Drive to gas station in Slingshot to refuel vehicle
• Pre-trip and post trip inspections for all vehicles in fleet
• Wash, clean, inspect and maintain all vehicles prior to checkout and upon return
• Clean interior, exterior and tires of all vehicles
• Clean and sanitize helmets
• Clean and maintain safe 5s warehouse environment
• Provide impeccable customer service that is centers around the safety and well-being of our customers
• Inspect vehicle for damage upon rental and return
• Document mileage, damage and gas level upon vehicle return
• Exhibit strong problem solving skills
• Reconcile end of day warehouse reports and activities
• Escalate damages to customer, front desk and leadership team
• In time of need, may be required to perform front desk responsibilities, including but not limited to check-out of vehicles and answering customer phone calls
• Communicates directly with customers converting consumer inquiries into successful rental transactions
• Pro-actively sell rental services to prospective customers in response to telephone and drop-in inquiries
• Responsible for completing all inspections and paperwork associated with rental transactions in a timely and accurate manner
• Calculates accurately and collects rental charges
• Carefully and accurately completing duties to ensure that the company receives accurate and timely payment of all monies due and does not suffer losses
• Exceptional customer service. Customer service skills include acknowledging customers in line, smiling, making eye contact, using the customer's name, and maintaining composure in difficult situations.
• Greet customers as they arrive to the facility
• Help customers at the facility with the rental process in an efficient and timely manner
• Handle customers questions or complaints and work to resolve overdue car rentals
• Facilitate discussion of safety protocols and gestures as described during video
• Complete damage investigation for any vehicles in accident
• Knowledge of the Slingshot features in the rental fleet
• Maintain appearance appropriate for providing best in class customer service in accordance with established guidelines
• Drive continuous improvement by communicating customer feedback to team and engaging in action planning to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction
• Keep work area organized and free of clutter
• Support a team environment by assisting other agents when needed
• Perform inventory of warehouse supplies
• Perform inventory of vehicles
• Ability to gather, analyze and articulate data
• Key holder responsibility- open and close facility
• Perform other work related tasks required by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work in warehouse environment and outdoors
• Must possess safety-first mentality
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Be comfortable using technology to communicate with customers
• Experience successfully interacting with demanding and high-need customers
• Effective communication skills
• A strong sense of guest service

• The ability to work well under pressure and be able to respond quickly to emergencies with appropriate judgment

• Must be able to work flexible hours - including weekends and evenings - not to exceed 30 hours per week
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no citations within the past 24 months
• Must be punctual
• Bilingual preferred
• Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills with customers.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to present a professional, enthusiastic attitude through effective communication skills to promote a positive impression to customers.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, and ability to maintain a professional image and demeanor.
• Minimum high school diploma
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs., plus frequent standing and bending
• Positive attitude is a must
• Must have communication skills and fluency in English

PAY: $750/week
