Warehouse Representative I, Txdc

Position Summary

This position is directly involved in all daily warehouse operations. Responsible for the picking and packaging of sales orders, receiving inbound goods and facility maintenance.

This position requires interaction with freight carriers, fellow warehouse personnel, customer service and internal management.

Essential Functions and Duties

• Assist in the set up and preparation of picking isles, packing and processing stations. This may involve the assembly and stocking of shipping supplies and ensuring all areas involved are prepared for daily shipping processes.
• Pick products/quantities/lot numbers accurately and efficiently from bin locations according to assigned pick lists for FFF customer orders.
• Package outbound FFF shipments according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to process orders accurately picking, performing quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading and preparing orders for shipment that it arrives damage free
• Accurately process FFF orders through the SAP/xCarrier interface in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist in the unloading and staging of inbound FFF receipts, using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Assist in the loading of outbound FFF shipments. This involves the operation of various materials handling equipment.
• Work together with fellow warehouse personnel to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes: order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, walkie rider with extreme care while keeping in mind the safety of yourself and others in the work area according to established safety procedures and company policy.
• Adherence to site safety regulations including wearing required personal protective equipment that complies with the policies and procedures stated in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program by always working in a safe manner and immediately reporting any injury, safety hazard, or program violation, such as steel toed safety shoes, and material handling equipment safety harness; accountable to FFF Enterprises EHS as well as QRA policies and procedures.
• Comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory task, maintaining a clean work environment including complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
• Continuously strive to improve processes, service quality to internal and external customers.
• Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations and laws.
• Display dedication to position responsibilities and achieve assigned goals and objectives.

• Ensure conduct is consistent with all Compliance Program Policies and procedures when engaging in any activity on behalf of the company. Immediately report any concerns or violations.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:

• Minimum one (1) year experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience on material handling equipment preferred.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in the medical industry a plus.

Physical requirements

Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for long periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Working condition include warehouse setting.

Learning, thinking, concentration and the ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service. Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations' situations. Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well as appropriate judgments when necessary. Must be proactive in finding solutions.
