Job Description
We are seeking a WarehouseCustomer Service Representative (CSR) to join our company located in Houston, TX. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Receive inbound calls
- Assist customers with inquiries
- Set up appointments and book loads to meet customers’ expectations
- Track orders to ensure loads are delivered and/or picked up on time
- Serve as a point of contact to the Operations Team
- Work with customers on shipment recoveries as needed
- Update Transportation Software with status of loads picked up and delivered
- Report, monitor, and analyze performance to ensure compliance and service metrics
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Customer Service skills
- Experience in transportation preferred
- Versatility, flexibility, and adaptability
- Excellent computer/keyboarding skills
- Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge
- Transportation Software knowledge is a plus
- Able to work well in a team environment as well as individually
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Customer Service Standards
- Ability to process a high volume of transactions
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
