Expected Pay: $16.00 - $17.00/hr
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

What You’ll Do:
Scanning, facing, sorting, and receiving variety of packages
Assist with the sort production line in warehouse
Clean sort production area by sweeping, moping, and dusting
Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies
Sort route codes to conveyor belt
Remove defective or damaged items
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Previous customer service experience is a plus
Basic computer skills and or experience working in a sort environment
Excellent customer service skills
Communication Skills including ability to listen and follow directions
Organizational skills in sorting and prioritization
Meet service level requirements and throughput rates
Maintain a professional work environment
Ability to perform detailed tasks in a repetitive environment while maintaining a good attitude and work ethic
Physical Requirements: The essential functions of the job require: sitting approximately one (1) hour per day, standing approximately four (4) hours per day, and walking approximately three (7) hours per day. The job also requires frequent bending/stooping, grasping, and kneeling. The work occasionally requires, pulling, pushing, reaching, and lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 44 pounds. On rare occasions the work requires lifting/carrying more than 45 pounds.
Sensory Requirements: Hearing: ability to detect proper equipment operation, detects alarms, and understands what others are saying in normal conversation and on the telephone. Speaking: ability to communicate orally with others and speak effectively on the telephone. Seeing: ability to see and read computer monitor screens, operates a vehicle and equipment, and read normal print.
