Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager oversees operations at our Corporate warehouse to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. You will prepare schedules and manage the Warehouse Associates, oversee the training of new employees on how to use machinery and SOPs and monitoring compliance with safety standards.
Essential Job Duties:
- Promote a safe, clean and organized warehouse
- Responsible for daily operations, including parts pulling, receiving, shipping and inventory management
- Build and sustain a high performing team. Responsible for development of team members including interviewing, training and disciplinary actions, as well as development and performance management
- Deliver exceptional service and demonstrates professional behaviors with internal and external customers
- Oversee incoming freight for quality and quantity - inspect for damage. Initiate NCR documentation and facilitate any additional communication with Warranty Administrator
- Facilitate same-day orders and equipment quick turnarounds
- Work with freight contracts to reduce shipping cost
- Manage effective scheduling and labor allocation to meet production/shipping needs
- Serve as back up for loading and uploading customer vehicles (forklift operation)
- Manage Rogers Machinery's afterhours program expectations, with rotating on-call schedule, availability, and problem-solving customer issues
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Interface with Production, Supply Chain, and Quality departments to resolve inventory discrepancies, establish pick schedules, and non-conforming materials
- Champion 6S and Lean implementation, maintenance, and associate participation
- Establish written SOPs and standard work such as receiving, kitting, and shipping processes
- Create, maintain, and report warehouse KPIs such as cycle count performance, pick rates, and shipping/receiving accuracy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Desired Skills:
- Forklift operation (training available)
- Familiarity with Epicor (ERP system).
- Familiarity with international shipping and regulations
- Logistics background
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
Required Skills

Physical Demands:
- Work at assigned workstation plus be active on the shop floor and within the warehouse
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25lbs frequently
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently stand, walk, use hands to feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
