What does an Inventory and Transport Warehouse Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Through a team of Inventory and Transport Supervisors, responsible for the internal and external movement of finished goods from production to warehouse and external sales centers. Ensure reconciliation of inventory and maintain inventory levels according to business demand.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains inventory levels of finished goods according to business demand and achieve goal of zero out-of-stocks. Requires proper understanding of short-term and long-term forecasting against on-hand inventory. Reviews all orders for incoming product to ensure proper inventory levels Ensure daily stock rotation (FIFO) Reconciles all daily inventory variances Ensure Inventory Supervisors and their team conduct daily cycle counts to achieve this goal. Coordinate with Inventory team to reconcile all STO/PO movements between facility and other locations and customers Ensure team conducts daily cycle counts as well as WE, ME and YE complete inventory counts Monitor W&B to company business goals
- Implement controls and processes to properly document, track and balance the movement of finished goods by forklift operators to achieve a goal of zero discrepancy. Ensure FLO’s are scanning all products off the production lines Ensure FLO’s are scanning all inbound deliveries Ensure all outbound loads are being verified and are accurate. Ensure in and outbound loads are processed timely and efficiently adhering to the processes outlined
- Move finished product internally in a timely manner ensuring it does not disrupt production operations or product supply to Sales Centers. Coordinate the order fulfillment of all STO/PO/NTS Orders (must be on time) Work with all Carriers on issues and opportunities that arise. Implement controls and processes to properly document, track and balance the movement of finished goods from the production lines to the WH and / or outbound trailers.
- Oversee all transport and inventory daily operations Provides leadership and motivation to staff through effective delegation, goal setting, accountability and communication Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and safety regulations Ensure the CBA is adhered to Manages loading and unloading of transports Assumes responsibility for the efficient and effective performance of all Transport and Inventory operations and staff Report on inventory activities and variances
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of Inventory reconciliation policies and process required and
- Knowledge of Shipping and receiving SOP’s required and
- Experience with a Union CBA required and
- Understanding of transportation dynamics required and
- Knowledge and experience with a Transportation Management Solution required and
- Understanding of warehouse industry Safety Procedures and OSHA requirements required and
- 4+ years of warehouse and/or inventory experience required and
- 2+ years of experience supervising warehouse and/or inventory employees required
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Knowledge of ASN, RFI and Voice Pick systems
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Influence key stakeholders in different departments to achieve goals
- High School Diploma (or GED) required
- Availability for night shift work as well as weekends depending on the needs of the business
