What you will do:

• Direct the day-to-day activities of a busy, wire-cutting department and ensuring that the quality of cuts meets customer's expected standards.
• Assist Sales Department on planning, assembling, scheduling customized orders and expediting deliveries.
• Enforce established SOPs for safety, inbound, inventory and outbound.
• Analyze KPIs on multi-departments weekly meetings to support other work areas and fulfill organization needs.
• Manage 20 associates, 2 team-leaders and 1 front-line Supervisor, improving and controlling shift standards.
• Review history of sales, inventory control adjustments, and purchasing to ensure availability of merchandise.
• Train new hires on Power Industrial Equipment and job roles, overseeing and improving safety culture.
• Communicate status updates throughout the day with other shift managers.
• Promote and adhere to warehouse safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.

What you will bring:

• Knowledge of warehouse processes in the areas of shipping & receiving, inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Experience utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (Eclipse is a Plus)
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
• The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks. Training will be provided.
• This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate computers and/or relevant warehouse computer software.

Salary Range: $65k-$80k
Location: Cranbury, NJ
Work Hours: Monday- Friday 11AM -7PM (after training period, must be flexible to meet the needs of the business)
