Job Summary: Managing and overseeing receiving, sorting, ticketing, packing ,and shipping inventory…team building and management. The goal will be to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the warehouse/stockroom to service our multiple retail locations in NYC .
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Inventory Management: Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and reconciliation to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline warehouse processes to optimize efficiency and productivity, minimizing errors and delays.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2+ years) in warehouse management or a similar role, with a track record of success in optimizing warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
