Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and support safety procedures throughout the warehouse.
- Lead the Warehouse department in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and quality across multiple sites.
- Develop, implement, and lead tactical and strategic objectives supporting goals, budget, and customer service initiatives.
- Troubleshoot workflow or operational issues and take corrective action to meet standards, budgets, and customer service levels.
- Support inventory management, identifying root causes, analyzing correction opportunities, and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop best practices and performance standards to drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Provide leadership to maintain a positive team environment department-wide.
- Leverage data and resources to identify operational opportunities and develop improvement methods and procedures.
- Ensure effective cross-functional communication to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Modify and communicate shifts in plans, goals, actions, staffing, operations, or priorities, acting as a change agent.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing others in a high-volume warehousing environment.
- OSHA and Safety training.
- ERP and WM experience, preferably Epicor or Business Central (SAP or equivalent).
- PIT train-the-trainer certified.
- Proven ability to initiate and execute initiatives with minimal guidance.
- Success in leading, motivating, training, and providing direction to staff.
- Additional Inventory, Production, Operations experience highly preferred.
- Lean Methodology training and/or certification (Six Sigma, etc.) highly preferred.
- HACCP certified, preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive compensation ranging from $65,000 - $80,000, contingent on experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package inclusive of 401(k) matching, health, dental, and vision insurance.
