Form of workRelay Express is a 24/7 Logistical Solutions Provider throughout the Midwest. We are currently looking for a full-time Warehouse Lead for our Louisville Branch. The focus and responsibilities of this position are to supervise and facilitate all aspects of our cross-dock operation, to make deliveries during the shift as needed, logistical warehousing, and contractor support. This person will meet all service requirements while adhering to the policies and procedures of Relay Express, Inc. This candidate must also have a reliable, personal vehicle and clean driving record.
Duties and Responsibilities:Have a complete understanding of Relay Express' warehousing/logistics, service programs, customers and service parameter definitions.
Work with a computer (Excel, email, Dispatch software) up to 50% of your shift
Follow customer specific SOP and ensure all inbound and outbound deliveries are completed daily Responsible for keeping the warehouse looking professional, clean, safe and organized daily.
Sign for and complete all incoming and inbound deliveries according to customer requirements.
Pull parts for all outgoing orders, making sure to follow all specific requirements. Example: correct quantity, contact names, part numbers, serial numbers, return packs, etc.
Be able to provide detailed information on each shipment coming into and going out of the warehouse Perform daily, weekly and bi-weekly cycle counts as needed.
Maintain professional attire, language and business demeanor in all dealings with customers, employees and vendors
Adhere to the Relay Express Social Covenant
Unloading and loading of trailers daily as well as putting them to stock, checking in the trailers and loading out the correct items
Must be able to make a delivery on occasion as needed
Must have good time management skills

Serve as a liaison between customers, contractors and operations team members A positive solution-based attitude always.
Ability to lift 85 pounds.
A reliable personal vehicle
Current driver's license and clean driving record 21 years of age or older
Experience with Microsoft Excel and email
Must have a can-do attitude at all times.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Willingness to learn all aspects of the company and the jobs at this location.
Forklift Certified
Must be able to set on a forklift 50% of the time when needed.
Benefits and Compensation:Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 7:30:00 PM Pay: $18.00per hour
Participation in Company Performance Bonus (Quarterly) up to 8% Medical Insurance at 60 days. Premium paid at 80%.
