Job Summary:
SBM Life Science is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the shipping, receiving, and warehousing function at our manufacturing facility in Pasadena, TX. The Warehouse Manager will play an instrumental role in delivering an efficient supply of materials for production and finished product to customers and distribution centers. The role requires a keen interest in operations, warehousing, manufacturing processes, and collaboration across SBM and 3rd party operations. Success in the role is measured by defined by the impact this position will have on unplanned downtime avoidance, inventory accuracy, efficiency of operations, and the support given by the plant logistics team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Leads the team consisting of material handlers and logistics.
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies at the Plant.
- Collaborates and communicates with planning, material handlers, carriers, operations, regarding the status of all raw materials and finished goods onsite and in transit.
- Manages and maintains an organized, clean, dock and warehouse space.
- Ensures that SLAs are met for unloading and unloading deliveries and stocking the facility.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Engages with internal stakeholders with a positive attitude.
- Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate degree required, Bachelors degree preferred
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of Warehouse Management experience or Management support
- 2 years of logistics experience
- Proficiency with using an ERP system
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to multitask and work independently
- Strong Attention to detail
- Forklift experience and certification highly preferred
