Description
As our Warehouse Lending Credit Analyst, you will underwrite large revolving lines of credit for our mortgage companies, including warehouse, correspondent, and multifamily portfolios. You will do this by spreading the companies' financials (data) into our systems and then reviewing items such as profit and loss, their balance sheets, and how they are doing business. It's the Credit Analyst's job to look at this raw data, dig in and question everything, and then use those findings to create a summary for final approval from our executive credit committee. - Prepared written credit analyses on prospective and existing clients for presentation and recommendation to approval authorities, including executive management. Included in this analysis is the spreading of corporate financial statements, preparing and reviewing due diligence questions with client and sales team, and legal contract management and review.
- Monitored ongoing compliance reviews; consisting of quarterly and audited financial statements, UCC filings, and insurance documentation. Maintained all applicable databases and tracking systems, and notify appropriate authorities of covenant breaches and other significant events.
- Developed strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
- Participated in credit and risk-related conference calls with internal parties and clients.
Requirements
What we are looking for...
- Bachelor's Degree in business-related area preferred, with coursework in Finance and Accounting a plus.
- Minimum of one year's experience in credit analysis and/or commercial lending with knowledge of mortgage banking
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and credit skills.
