Warehouse Lead

Summary:

Coordinates the receiving, storage and issuance of materials and other items that are received into and issued from the warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates work activities related to the receiving and issuance of items that are received into and issued from the assigned facility’s warehouse;
• Participates in the execution of work activities related to the receiving and issuance of items that are received into and issued from the assigned facility’s warehouse;
• Coordinates the receiving, counting, and orderly storage of warehouse items; uses approved processes and resources to record related data;
• Coordinates and prioritizes work load for the shift and material handlers to ensure timely moves and transactions;
• Communicates with Purchasing and Sheldon regarding transfers, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Assures the proper maintenance of equipment and orderliness of storage areas.
• Assures timely and accurate required recordkeeping.
