Warehouse Lead

Job Summary:
Responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch company goods.
Essential Job Functions:

• Crosstrain and have the ability to be flexible to perform all the positions within the warehouse and train others.
• Assist in creating a One-Team environment by communicating effectively with all Purchasing and Warehouse Manager and staff.
• Assist Purchasing and Warehouse Manager in analyzing, creating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist in receiving incoming inventory, supply and equipment purchases for all laying/plant facilities and offices
• Assist in pulling inventory orders and scanning out items to correct location
• Assist in preparing paperwork and review for accuracy for both incoming and outgoing inventory and product orders
• Review orders to determine quantities required are not excessive specifications meet CV standards
• Maintain records of facility transactions and product inventories, investigate variances.
• Use Excel to create daily receiving log/spreadsheet and proof it against receiving paperwork.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and certain weekly counts
• Assist Warehouse and Purchasing Manager with Inventory Audit Process
• Research, select, and purchase quality products and materials
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
• Verifies receipts of products with purchase orders
• Create labels and documentation of new inventory items
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Follow all company bio-security protocols

Qualifications/Competencies:*

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Purchasing/Warehouse experience 1-2 yrs
• Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred
• Attention to detail
• Valid Driver’s license
• Computer Skills
