This position will involve supporting an existing consulting initiative aimed at optimizing Inventory Management. Candidates with a proven track record of success in similar projects and the ability to thrive in complex and fragmented environments are encouraged to apply.
This is a contract position for the duration of the inventory optimization project, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsiblities:
- Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels across multiple sites, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
- Cross-Site Coordination: Coordinate Inventory Management activities across several sites, understanding and addressing the unique requirements and challenges of each location.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the Inventory Management process, implementing best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Inventory Accuracy: Implement robust inventory control measures to maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits and reconciliations to minimize discrepancies.
- Technology Utilization: Leverage Inventory Management systems and technology solutions to streamline operations, enhance visibility, and improve overall Inventory Management efficiency.
- Team Coordination and Motivation: Coordinate a team of 20+ Warehouse and Inventory personnel to implement all necessary improvements in processes. Provide guidance, support, and motivation to ensure effective collaboration and successful execution of inventory optimization initiatives.
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation of inventory optimization projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely execution and achievement of project objectives. Assure the execution in time and manner of the initiatives proposed by the consulting project.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in Warehouse and Inventory Management roles, with a focus on optimization initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in coordinating Inventory Management activities across multiple sites with diverse needs.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with ERPs, particularly D365 and Oracle, to effectively interpret data and drive informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management software and systems.
- Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence.
The expected starting pay range for this role is $60.00 - $75.00/hr. USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education.
