ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
RECEIVING FUNCTIONS
Receives and checks all deliveries and verifies packing slip to purchase order.
Receives purchase order in system on timely basis
Maintains a file of purchase orders expected to be received.
Reports any deficiencies or discrepancies to supervisor and purchasing.
Place incoming stock and supplies in proper bin locations once received.
Account for all materials brought into and shipped out of storeroom.
Run receiving audit trail report daily to assure accuracy.
PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION FUNCTIONS:
Monitor the shipping of all goods out of the warehouse and prepare/maintain all proper documentation.
Ensure smooth and efficient supply of goods and materials to the fleet as requested.
Maintain proper paperwork to document proof of delivery to vessels.
Retain all requisitions that have a back order.
Pull inventory items by order number and priority and stage for customer pick-up.
Once order is complete notify requisitioner that order is ready, and fulfill order in the computer system to maintain real-time inventory counts.
INVENTORY FUNCTIONS
Maintain a neat and orderly inventory. Maintain a neat and orderly work area, including store rooms and storage containers.
Maintain a sufficient amount of inventory for one month.
Perform daily cycle counts based upon ABC standards and coordinate with Purchasing and accounting on status and variances.
Assure that all transactions from Receiving to Fulfilling are done accurately and on a timely basis, and that audit trail reports are done daily to minimize errors.
Assure bin to bin transfers are done when product is moved or received for the first time assuring proper location control.
Run daily reports allowing you to trouble shoot any potential location or inventory count errors that might have occurred.
Be prepared to do a complete Physical inventory if needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Possession of a valid drivers license.
1 -2 years warehouse experience with working knowledge of inventory control
Forklift certified
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to communicate and follow oral and written instructions.
Must be well organized and be able to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to lift 70 pounds.
Work overtime as required.
Have good communication skills.
Have worked in a controlled inventory environment or warehouse.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Heavy - Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Moderate - Occasionally exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise fumes, dust, etc.)
