What You Will Do
This position is responsible for receiving, transferring, inventorying, and shipping hazardous waste materials within the rules established at a 10-day transfer facility. Assure compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
1. Receive, verify, unload, and stage drums pallets from three to five trailers per week and store hazardous waste in the 10-day facility for future transfer to various disposal sites.
2. Review appropriate manifests for the proper count, description, and other required information before transferring materials and make the proper corrections/changes.
What You Will Need
A High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) is required
Prior work experience of 1-2 years in a related position preferred
Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL.
Forklift certified
