SalaryThe Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for shipping finished goods and other miscellaneous items, incoming inspections and receiving materials to inventory, operate forklift, unpack and examine incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates agency vehicles to and from Post Office, and off site locations for pick-up and delivery of mail and inventory items.
- Maintains warehouse vehicle & box truck
- Maintains inventory control of GC inventory items.
- Routes and delivers items to departments
- Assures that all material that is to be delivered has been received whenever possible
- Prioritizes workload to take care of items of sensitive material first
- Prepares daily paperwork to allow an audit trail of deliveries to be established and audited when necessary
- Picks up material to be shipped out at all administration stations
- Assists with campus snow removal
High School Diploma or equivalent. Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision. Adept in the operation of forklift truck and other specialized material handling equipment. Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record. Must meet the essential functions of the position.
Pay Rate: $16.00 (non-negotiable) Hourly.
