Job Summary
This position is responsible for creating work orders and parts requisitions; receiving, counting, and tracking parts; and daily assignments of the parts call center. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes. Starting Pay $17.50 per hour.
Job Responsibilities

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Execute work orders, parts requisitions, and receiving in CMMS program

Create part requisitions, receive, and stock materials in a timely manner

Perform parts audits

Maintain hazardous waste area and parts and tool room daily

Maintain data for SDS on maintenance materials

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

Education and/or Experience

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.


2 years of experience in Parts Room required.


Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations


Language Skills

Ability to read, simple verbal or written instructions; able to write short memos/messages. Able to communicate information effectively one on one, and in small groups (customers, clients, co-workers etc.)

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw, and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and trigonometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situation.

Freedom to Act

Ability to accomplish work with limited direction. Determine and develop approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met.

Problem Complexity and Problem Solving Timeframes

Ability to provide resolution to problems that are readily identifiable with limited scope and are resolved in accordance with standard practices, procedures, applications or routines. Problem/Task resolution timeframe: The majority of tasks typically take one to two days to resolve.
