Job description

A BRIEF OVERVIEW
We are seeking a strategic leader to partner across disciplines and continuously improve delivery performance, lead time, logistics, financial performance, and operational efficiency through the design and implementation of global Supply Chain strategies, practices, and partnerships. This includes continuing to enhance our Integrated Business Planning process to ensure clarity of demand, labor planning alignment, capacity planning, and supply planning. In this role, you will have a team of global Supply Chain professionals directly reporting to you and will coach, mentor, and lead Supply Chain team members across our manufacturing facilities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Strategic Supply Chain Leadership:

  • Develop and communicate a vision for enhanced stability, predictability, and continuous improvement across all dimensions of Supply Chain management.
  • Lead strategic Supply Chain initiatives, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Global Capacity planning, fostering alignment with business objectives.
  • Align business planning activities with other functions, collaborating with finance, sales & marketing, human resources, information technology, program management, and quality.

Company-Wide Planning and Tools Development:

  • Spearhead the process for direct labor planning, machine capacity planning, inventory planning, and shipment and revenue planning.
  • Build company-wide planning tools, ensuring effective implementation at sites and monitoring progress toward organizational goals.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team using the global talent management approach, ensuring alignment with core values and leadership competencies.

Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Process Ownership:

  • Define and implement the company's IBP supply planning process, providing thought leadership across all planning processes.
  • Act as a change agent for institutionalizing IBP elements as the standard approach, leading monthly consolidated Supply Reviews and driving ongoing process improvement opportunities.

Operational Excellence and Talent Development:

  • Drive operational excellence in Supply Chain capabilities through a strategic roadmap, focusing on improving productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Communicate vision and strategic plans for Supply Chain.
  • Utilize processes to translate best practices and coach/mentor direct and indirect reports on "best practice" implementation.

Business Proposal and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Play a key role in business proposals, particularly those involving new growth opportunities, Greenfield sites, or multi-site Supply Chain planning.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor (Required)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of Experience in Supply Chain Management - with Experience in Supply Planning, Production Scheduling, Materials Management, and Logistics (Required)
  • 7+ Years Leading a Supply Chain Planning Team (Required)
  • 7+ years experience building contemporary supply planning processes which have delivered consistently high customer satisfaction and improving labor productivity (Required)
  • 7+ years experience connecting complicated Supply Chains, involving multiple sites and multiple BOM levels (Required)
  • 3+ years operations experience - running single or multiple factories (Required)
  • Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning and Material Requirements Planning Systems (Required)
  • Manufacturing Experience (Required)
  • Experience leading in an organization with a structured business planning process - IBP, SIOP, S&OP (Preferred)

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) - The Association for Operations Management (APICS) (Preferred)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • 30% Occasional travel to locations is required.
