Vp Of Business Services - Mission Critical Facilities International

Basic Functions:The VP of Business Services of Mission Critical Facilities International manages several aspects of corporate finance and accounting, IT and business processes.  This will include Financial Planning & Analysis, Mergers & Acquisition feasibility, and Percentage of Completion determination and IT. This role will serve as an integral part of our Private Equity backed organization by projecting long term success, identifying risk factors, and reporting related findings to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.General Responsibilities:

• Manages the budgeting and forecasting process for the corporate entity (MCG) and provides guidance to accounting and financial staff at portfolio companies.
• Facilitates monthly business reviews and reports findings to stakeholders.
• Ensures GAAP compliance.
• Works closely with portfolio companies to establish appropriate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606.
• Responsible for establishing and measuring key metrics and corporate initiatives.
• Works closely with executive management to set up the organization to scale future operations.
• Creates, maintains, and oversees the execution of financial initiatives tracking progress, and works with others to complete necessary tasks.
• Serves as a driving force for M & A activities to include evaluating prospective targets, facilitating post transaction integration and the realization of operational synergies.
• Works closely with executive management to ensure financial objectives are met throughout the group, analyzing results against forecast and providing financial analysis to executive management.
• Responsible for establishing standards and reporting metrics that demonstrate consistency among all portfolio companies.
• Establishes a roadmap to integrate a cohesive IT plan for MCG and portfolio companies.
• Serve as point person for migrating historical data into a single ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics).
• Works closely with collective finance team to migrate portfolio companies into a single ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics).
• Works with corporate HR staff to integrate a single payroll system for MCG.
• Identifies and oversees critical systems deployment across MCG enterprise.
• Works closely with Group CFO and external auditors during the financial audits of all portfolio companies.
• Other duties as assigned by executive management.

• Ability to quickly learn various corporate accounting software programs and possibly train others.
• Ability to effectively interpret and explain detailed financial reports and able to express ideas effectively in oral and written form with tact and diplomacy.
• Professionalism when dealing with all staff and other customers while fostering positive working relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. MBA strongly preferred.
• Seven (7) + years’ experience in a senior Finance or Accounting role required. Experience working with a Private Equity firm or in the manufacturing industry considered a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP with the ability to conduct both short and long-term financial planning, demonstrated by a strong business acumen.
• Proven experience with effectively creating, interpreting, and explaining detailed accounting reports (eg-income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement).
• Strong experience building out financial and accounting practices for shared organizations.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software to implement, develop and maintain computer based accounting and other business operations.
• Ability to pass a criminal background, Department of Motor Vehicles, and credit check.
