What We Looking For:

Angel Oak is looking for a Vice President of Information Technology to lead the organization's IT function.

Principal Accountabilities:

Serve as the primary managing member of the Information Technology Division within Angel Oak Lending. This will include the daily oversight and general management of the function and the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and communicate a clear technology vision and strategy that supports the company's overall business goals and objectives.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential to enhance the organization's competitive advantage, and recommending their adoption as appropriate.
• Provides applicable support for the development team in terms of development projects and/or maintenance of applications as may be required.
• Leads key digital projects, which may include documenting current state and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• As necessary, perform business analysis and requirements gathering for special IT projects.
• Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, safeguarding the organization's data and technology assets.
• Collaborates with the Vendor Risk Committee (Counterparty Risk) to vet and approve the technological and security aspects of any potential vendor in terms of relative technology, data sharing or security measures for protecting PII. Accomplish all regular and additional assigned tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
• Develop and manage the technology budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize return on investment and align with the company's financial goals.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of the architecture and technology footprint for Angel Oak Lending
• Change Management and Incident Management Processes as well as other ITSM based process.
• Provide key project support for cyber security and cloud initiatives.
• Oversees the administration and maintenance of company’s networking infrastructure. Oversight of service desk management for all lending locations
• Oversight of ticketing management system for devices, applications, and infrastructure
• Provides necessary oversight and support for lending applications key to supporting day-to-day business functions.
• Ensures proper documentation and functional testing is completed for enhancements for managed release.
• Oversees Risk and Information Security for AO Lending
• Provides, reviews and documents all diligence responses and investigations requests.
• Chairs the Technology Risk Committee, as applicable.
