Purpose & Impact
The VP of Engineering will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully building and scaling SaaS products, as well as leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.
What that looks like day to day:
- Execute the company's product strategy in alignment with business objectives and market trends.
- Lead the development and delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with the product team in the definition and prioritization of product features, user stories, and use cases.
- Assist in the development and management of product roadmaps, timelines, and release schedules.
- Ensure that product development is aligned with engineering capabilities, timelines, and priorities.
- Manage and motivate the engineering team to build high-quality software solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering teams.
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure that products are marketed effectively, and customer needs are met.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and launching successful SaaS products.
- Strong technical background and experience managing high-performing engineering teams.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in managing remote teams is a plus.
