VP ofStrategic Alliances in Retail Software

We're currently a team of 1800+ employees working from offices in the US (Atlanta), UK, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, and our headquarters in Helsinki, Finland. Join us as an VP of Strategic Alliances, and this is some of what you'll be doing:

  • Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and execute a strategic alliance vision: Aligning with the overall company strategy, define the target partner ecosystem, prioritize partnerships, and establish goals for revenue growth, market share, and brand awareness.
    • Identify and evaluate potential alliance partners: Conduct market research, analyze competitor partnerships, and identify companies with complementary offerings and shared target markets.
    • Develop alliance business models and value propositions: Design mutually beneficial partnerships with clear value propositions.
    • Create an alliance governance strategy: Leverage existing and develop new processes for partner onboarding, engagement, communication, performance measurement, and dispute resolution.
  • Partnership Management:
    • Build and manage relationships with key partner executives: Foster strong relationships with partner leadership, address concerns, and ensure alignment on joint objectives.
    • Drive partner adoption and activation: Develop programs to enable partners to sell, implement, and support your software effectively.
    • Track and measure partnership performance: Monitor key metrics like joint sales, customer acquisition, and partner engagement, adjusting strategies based on data insights.
  • Marketing & Communication:
    • Develop co-marketing and sales enablement programs.
    • Develop communication channels for partners and internal stakeholders.
    • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
    • Identify and mitigate potential partnership risks.

We're looking for:

  • Self-Starter: The candidate must be independent, resourceful, adaptable and achievement-oriented. 
  • Team Player: Open-minded, hands-on, team-oriented and down to earth communicator. Good experience interacting with inside sales, pre-sales, alliances and sales operations in a manner that creates the best outcomes for customers and the company.
  • Customer-Focused: RELEX is customer satisfaction-obsessed, so the candidate needs to demonstrate that they build and maintain positive long-term, win-win relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Good Communicator: Excellent communications skills demonstrated in customer interactions, proposals and sales communications, internal updates and sales operations reporting.
