Job Summary
Reporting to the SVP, TechOps & Engineering, the VP, Network Operations & Reliability is responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of Comcast’s 10G Network Technology for the Central Division. This leader will support change transformation and strategy execution to achieve business results as it relates to advancements in our network growth and reliability. This VP will create business strategy to focus on strengths, competitive advantage, and differentiation, as well as develop long-term plans that impact our ability to deliver the most advanced WiFi technology to our customers. Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading Comcast's Network and Plant Maintenance strategy for the Central Division and Regions.
- Creates, leads, and supports network reliability plans.
- Assists and leads Network deployments such as FDX/DOCSIS 4.0.
- Leads Division Network Quality control and Remediation process.
- Works closely with construction and engineering teams to support network upgrades.
- Oversees fiber restoration plans and quality initiatives.
- Works cross-functionally with Region, Division and HQ Teams.
- Leads, directs, and motivates a team comprised of management, exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Drives strategic plans and engages in major storm events and crisis management.
- Responsible for creating and managing both capital and expense budgets.
- Leads the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards. Makes changes and updates in policies, procedures and best practices using recommendations and knowledge of advances and changes in Plant Maintenance technology and services.
- Creates and oversees the implementation of enterprise-wide functional and operational strategies for career develop and growth.
- Collaborates with cross-functional groups to determine objectives and advises on impact of functional and operational strategies.
- Defines financial goals and objectives and ensures goal and objectives are met. Creates service metrics and quality assurance goals. Surveys the market and data to continually develop best-in-class customer service, installation, and network maintenance standards.
- Ensures the necessary resources to accomplish network maintenance objectives and goals.
- Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with key vendors and contractors to ensure effective implementation of business strategies as well as to identify expedient and comprehensive solutions to customer-impacting issues.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Bachelor's Degree
