Join an industry-leading truck equipment manufacturer, up-fitter, and distributor with over 60 years of work truck expertise! Monroe Truck Equipment is searching for a Vice President of Commercial Sales that will play a critical role in continuing the growth and success of Monroe Truck Equipment.
Division: Monroe Truck Equipment - Monroe, WI
Position: Vice President, Commercial Sales
Shift: Monday-Friday
Status: Fulltime, Exempt
The Vice President of Commercial Sales is responsible for the success of the Commercial Sales division with a specialized focus on driving sales growth and developing new markets, expanding existing customer relationships, sales team development, and management and system optimization. This position is responsible for all sales and services in all territories.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Drive new sales growth in target markets and industries.
  • Elevate the sales team's capabilities through training, coaching, and robust professional development programs, with a laser focus on delivering extraordinary customer experiences.
  • Cultivate and deepen customer relationships as the heart of our sales strategy, aiming for enduring loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Lead discussions with clients that reflect mutually beneficial agreements and the establishment of enduring partnerships.
  • Utilize CRM tools to analyze customer interactions and drive customer opportunities.
  • Develop and refine sales processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Perform client presentations, articulating the value proposition of product, solution and service offerings from Monroe Truck Equipment. Provide management with suggestions for improving products, market share and price levels.
  • Implement data-driven approaches to analyze sales performance and continuously improve results.
  • Travel expected 50% or greater.
  • Work remotely.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in a sales leadership role.
  • Proven success in developing and scaling high-performing sales teams.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing effective sales processes and systems.
  • Commercial or Industrial Truck Sales Experience is a plus. Familiarity with the unique challenges and dynamics of these sectors is highly desirable. Must show mechanical aptitude and have previous experience with truck equipment or related products.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license.
