PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Materials Distribution Coordinator in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Job Title: Materials Distribution Coordinator 1st Shift
Job Type: Full time; contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Onsite.
Location: Appleton, WI 54911
Pay Rate: 19.71
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the receipt and disbursement of purchased and fabricated parts for the manufacturing operation.
Ensure availability of all line items for work orders before releasing kitted parts to assembly.
Conduct inventory transactions and maintain accuracy of perpetual inventory records through cycle counts.
Tag suspect material items and process non-conformance records.
Process engineering change notices by replacing incorrect items in work orders with the correct ones.
Interface with all departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products.
Review and resolve work order discrepancies.
Ensure efficient flow of parts through inventory control.
Organize purchased and manufactured parts on shelves according to company number.
Issue production receipts and kit-up purchased and manufactured parts for assembly release.
Operate forklift, pallet jack, and crane to move materials and maintain organized inventory areas for accuracy and safety.
Identify non-conforming parts and follow Quality Control procedures to ensure compliance with specifications.
Assist supervisor in conducting cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
Assist in periodic physical inventory counts.
Verify received items against packing slips, enter items into the computer, and move parts to their respective areas.
Assist in spare parts orders, including proper packaging for damage-free shipment and completion of necessary paperwork, including customs requirements.
Assist in preparing machinery for shipment to customers, including protecting machinery for transportation, conducting final quality audits, and following safe shipment fastening procedures.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in inventory control, logistics, or manufacturing, or equivalent experience and training.
One year of experience in inventory control.
Ability to read print packages for kit cart assembly.
Diversified organizational skills and literacy in computer skills.
Working knowledge of an integrated manufacturing system.
Strong attention to detail.
Highly reliable and able to work with minimum supervision.
Good organizational and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Pay Details: 19.71 per hour
