This position will plan, promote, and coordinate the Youth Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) volunteer program with the local community, as well as provide direct consultation services to youth to assist in locating needed resources and services.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate, attend, support, track, and facilitate youth CQI opportunities.
- Educate and connect with youth in care ages 14-21 statewide regarding youth CQI and engagement in decision making and collaboration with DCBS.
- Support and advocate the collective voice of youth and share with stakeholders - resource parents, DCBS, private agencies, community partners - regarding the needs of youth in care and those transition age youth who have aged out of the foster care system.
- This position will work in partnership and support joint efforts with partner organizations and departments to promote and communicate DCBS youth engagement strategies, quality improvement, and DCBS initiatives.
- Required to have been part of the foster care system and able to speak to others about this living experience.
- Required to be comfortable and able to facilitate CQI youth meetings and present for public speaking engagements to discuss present and future issues for those currently in, and those that are aging out of, the foster care system.
- Should be able to utilize Microsoft word, typing, PowerPoint, and Microsoft e-mail and electronic calendar applications.
- Required to have a high school diploma or GED.
- Required to have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel across the state.
