Job Brief:
iKrusher is one of the leading brands of vape technology hardware. The HQ is located near Los Angeles, California, in the City of Arcadia, and includes R&D in its facility. We are looking for a Video Production Specialist to plan and execute pre-production, production, and post-production of our video content to address our marketing needs.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a passion for visual storytelling, attention to detail, and proven experience in both filming and editing digital media. This individual will oversee video creativity that will generate positive responses among potential B2B resellers and consumers in vaping and cannabis industry across the internet.
You report to and work closely with the Marketing Director and Sr Graphic Designer to help assist with multiple projects and promote our brand by delivering high-quality pieces on tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the video commerce team, project requestor, artists, and marketing team on imagery and storytelling.
- Lead production on video shoots with considerations for campaign calendar, location, participants, audio, and props.
- Optimize and edit video for brand video, product reels, and social platform pre-rolls and visualizers.
- Contribute motion graphics for use across social platforms.
- Participate in photo shoots and graphic design related to video project content.
- Research and acquire stock footage.
- Maintain a production schedule to ensure on-time delivery.
- Organize and archive final assets for team retrieval.
- Stay up to date on specs for e-commerce and social media platforms and adhere to best practices.
- Coordinate with the Marketing team on all creative and design projects, from conception to delivery.
- Enforce the design and production protocol within the creative team for all the visual projects to ensure "zero" mistakes in the output.
- Plan and organize the video projects with relevant tasks in Teamwork project management software and keep track of the start and end dates as scheduled.
- Coordinate the requested video production services with other teams within iKrusher. Initiate the assessment with the requestors to figure out what they need exactly and how and when we can deliver the result on time and within budget.
- Initiate and host creative and concept discussions with the relevant parties for the new and current projects. Take the meeting minutes and enforce the final decisions in the creative and design.
- Responsible to create and organize the “libraries” for the current and future products in the shared folders to minimize the repetitious tasks in the overall workflows.
- Research the market to learn the latest vaping and cannabis industry development, creative and software technology, vendors that meet our preset criteria, etc.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of minimum working experience in related video and animation experience with a multi-disciplined portfolio. Experience in a vape cartridge, e-cigarette, or cannabis-related industry is a PLUS.
- Must have a portfolio of completed video projects is required for review.
- Able to translate the business needs into creative and video works and to maximize the convincing points.
- Knowledge of Windows PC or Mac and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in using a camera, lighting sets, etc. of photography and videography to carry out the tasks is a must.
- Expert user of Adobe Creative Cloud - After Effects, Premiere Pro, Anime, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Final Cut Pro is a must. Hand-on experience with DaVinci Resolve 18 is a PLUS.
- Knowledge of image editing software, like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite is a PLUS.
- Strong conceptual designer, thinker, and problem solver.
- Conceptualize and present ideas clearly in writing, graphic images, motions, and audio, while also taking direction.
- Self-motivated and can work autonomously and with a team.
- Excellent organization, project management, and prioritization skills.
- A passion for video and the desire to share acquired knowledge with the team.
- The ability to take constructive criticism for improvement.
- The ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with the marketing team.
- BSc degree in film studies, cinematography, design, visual arts, or relevant field.
- Must have experience with Red Camera.
- Experience Maya Software is a plus.
- 3d Animation and rendering is a big plus
Position: Full-time Hourly, remote is not allowed.
