Crestline Investors, Inc., founded in 1997 and based in Fort Worth, Texas, is an institutional alternative investment management firm. Crestline specializes in credit and opportunistic investments, including financing and restructuring solutions for mature private equity funds. In addition, the firm manages a multi-PM equity market-neutral hedge fund, and provides beta and hedging solutions for institutional clients. The company maintains affiliate offices in New York City, London, Toronto and Tokyo.
The primary responsibilities will include supporting the efforts within the Client Partnership Group ("CPG") of the firm and preparing and communicating accurate and timely responses to clients, prospects, and consultants.
A successful candidate understands financial terms and has a keen interest in the markets, with proficiency in writing, attention to detail, technical skills, including excellent computer proficiency and adeptness with Excel and PowerPoint, as well as personal skills including positive attitude, initiative, resourcefulness, and tact. Candidates should have strong organizational skills, acting as a reliable member of the team who proactively and continually strives for improvement and best practices.
Primary Role:
- Support marketing team on all business development and fundraising efforts
- Prepare and participate on meetings/calls for strategies
- Understand strategy, investments, pipeline, structure, fees, competitors, etc.
- Serve as firm point for assigned strategies and serve as a mentor and leader for more junior members of the team
- Be willing to devote time to teaching other product specialists, interns, new hires, etc.
- Serve as lead for completion of strategy-related client deliverables and business development requests
Responsibilities:
- Manage RFPs and DDQs and other client requests in specific strategy; at times, lead larger team efforts for other strategies; be willing to review work of others and give feedback
- Crossover support and backup for additional strategies
- Responsible for new development of strategy specific materials (pitchbooks, quarterly reports, white papers, etc.)
- Contribute to, process reviews, and give final approval on all strategy related materials including Product Summaries, Pitchbooks, Transaction Summaries, Teasers, Semi-Annual letters, Quarterly client presentations
- Prepare and share strategy-related reporting, with focus on activities and opportunities, during weekly team meetings
- Responsible for updates and accuracy of fundraising pipeline opportunities, working with Sales Reps to ensure accuracy
- Competitive analysis for assigned strategy, including researching and tracking of presentations and fees, and updating relationships and notes in CRM

- Prior private equity / hedge fund experience required
- 6+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA and/or CFA a plus
