Inviting applications for the role of Vice President- Pre Sales IT-Managed Services
In this role, We are seeking a visionary and accomplished practice leader to drive go-to-market, offer development, and pre-sales of Genpact's IT Managed Services (ITMS) which cover on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments and operations. Genpact's services span staffing to comprehensive "outsource and transform," leveraging SRE, AIOPS and RunOps automation capabilities. Key metrics for this role include conversations/opportunities, bookings, revenue, profitability, forecast accuracy, win ratio. Building and retaining a high-performance practice team is essential. Finally, innovation and creating transformative offers and solutions to transform client's ITMS operations are as critical.
Responsibilities
Identify market trends and opportunities that Genpact, with its strengths, can differentiate.
Define thought leadership and opportunities that will transform and modernize ITMS
Define competitive offers to address these opportunities and enable Genpact sellers to build sales pipeline
Offers many entail partner products so responsible for managing partnership and delivery with key product vendors and 3rd parties as needed
Primary client interface during pre-sales activities, including any industry/tech analyst interactions
Directly responsible for ownership of quality of solution in RFI's and RFPs
Direct responsibility of growth Financials (Revenue and AOI) incl. hunting and mining
Work along with Sales and Solutioning team for mining and support in new client pursuits
Participate in end-to-end RFP process and assist in transition as needed (solution handoff)
Quality of contractual solution including Vendor / 3rd party portion
Manage Partnerships needed for design of solution
Manage team of core and extended team of ITMS architects and SMEs across locations and timezones
Provide End user and Infrastructure Management Competency thought leadership
Responsible for Talent Management, Career Planning and Retention of managed teams
Presales for IT Infrastructure. Hands on Infrastructure Solutions expertise in Workplace Services, Cloud Infrastructure Management Technologies and On-prem Infra
Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications
Relevant years of experience in Managed Workplaces, Cloud and Remote Infrastructure Management with direct pre-sales knowledge is mandatory.
We are not looking for a single technology specialist /architect. However, a fair amount of technical knowledge is mandatory.
Hands-on IT solutioning/pre-sales experience for at least 3 or more winning deals for fortune 100 customers in the past
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
CxO presence: Must have experience interfacing with IT Directors and CxO-1 profiles
Mandatorily must have led winning IT proposals in the past with complete ownership, delivering deals with multi-year global services for fortune 100 companies across regions
Good knowledge and expertise in Workplace Services, Cloud, SRE, DevOps, Automation along with knowledge of Infrastructure, Networks and Apps is required
Prior experience of hands-on core pre-sales is mandatory. Must have an operational background with a customer facing role. Experience in pre-sales, design, and solutions roles in a global organization
Must be willing to travel and work extended hours at short notice
Excellent interpersonal and communication and presentation skills.
Needs to have some amount of general knowledge of products and technologies across domains and applications
Must have a thorough understanding of the Processes, Challenges, and IT landscape in ITSM and Infrastructure Management.
Relevant ITSM, Microsoft, Cisco and other industry certifications are preferred, but are not mandatory
Must have experience of geographies and exposure to cultural differences with some high-level knowledge of local laws, regulations etc.
The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
