Infusion for Health is a referral-based infusion center that services all providers in multiple locations in Southern California, Nevada, Washington, Colorado, Arizona and Missouri. Our center is unique and offers individual comfortable private rooms for our patients. Our mission is to provide exceptional service in the administration of infusion therapy in a comfortable, patient-focused environment by providing exemplary professional care.

Our team is growing! We are seeking our first-ever Vice President of Revenue Cycle (VPRC). The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a proven track record in leading Revenue Cycle Management resources in a healthcare environment. As an established leader, the VPRC will influence at every level, imparting knowledge, and skills to drive efficiency in our Revenue Cycle practices. 

The VPRC role is critical to Infusion for Health’s mission to provide exceptional infusion therapy experiences, professional care, and value in a comfortable, patient-focused environment for our patients. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the VPRC will enjoy a unique opportunity to impact the success of the organization. This position is responsible for leading overall the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of system policies governing all aspects of the Revenue Cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous Revenue Cycle process improvement universally and largely standardized and aligned with industry best practice standards to achieve data-driven results.
  • Develop and deploy a comprehensive Revenue Cycle infrastructure to enhance revenue performance and sustain a culture of accountability.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain strategies by working with internal and cross-functional partners to achieve optimal Revenue Cycle performance.
  • Ensure new ideas and Revenue Cycle initiatives are adopted to align and support collaboration within and between the various Revenue Cycle departments in markets and across our system.
  • Ensures compliance in all aspects of RCM activities, including coding and billing rules and regulations by payer. Responsible for monitoring and responding to any legislative/regulatory billing changes.
  • Manage RCM expenses that meet or exceed the organization's "Cost to Collect" benchmarks/goals. 
  • Prepare and present Executive Summary performance updates to senior management team and Board of Directors as needed.
  • Ensure the identification, analysis, and implementation of solutions designed to improve collection rates, reduce bad debt, and reduce days sales outstanding.
  • Drive the design, execution, monitoring, and assessment of key RCM performance metrics (i.e., DSO, bad debt, etc.) to refine processes and improve efficiencies/productivity to reduce overall costs.
  • Oversees external vendor relationships, programs, and systems.
  • Completes various financial forecasts and long-range strategic plans for the organization.
  • Oversees external audits as they relate to the Revenue Cycle, in conjunction with other department leaders. 
  • Mediates and resolves conflicts and issues as needed to maintain the highest level of integrity for Infusion for Health
  • Develop and lead patient financial services teams to enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 8 years in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience
  • Successfully managed a large RCM operation. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, health, public administration, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of hospital and physician billing and reimbursement and healthcare industry financial statistical indicators
  • Experience applying knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections across Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care.
  • Experience applying knowledge in collecting, analyzing, and reporting Revenue Cycle Management data used to identify opportunities and strategies for improvement.
  • Clear, effective communication skills
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills

 

The annual salary range for this role is expected to be between $200,000-$210,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
