About the Opportunity:

The Team Lead, Sales Development (SDR Manager) is responsible for developing, managing, and driving growth across ShipHawk's Sales Development team. The SDR Manager provides structure, discipline, inspiration, mentorship, and strategic leadership to not just hit targets, but to improve the sales team's performance in line with the Company plan.
The SDR Manager will work closely with functional leadership and the sales team they oversee to build predictable, repeatable, and measurable Sales Development processes, to onboard and train new hires to support team growth, to build a targeted pipeline sufficient to meet company sales targets, to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans, and to direct the company into new and expanding revenue opportunities.
The SDR Manager brings energy and optimism to the team, and also has strong organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a growing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
- Define and develop our SDR structure which includes testing processes, messaging, tactics, efficiency and productivity
- Coordinate and manage weekly and monthly one-on-one and team-wide pipeline reviews, meetings, and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement and best practice sharing
- Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines and forecasts to ensure above-quota results
- Responsible for onboarding, training, and managing new SDR team members in partnership with Sales Leadership
- Coach and develop SDR team
- Regularly collaborate with Sales Leadership and report team and business results
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Senior level experience in team management and sales strategy
- A minimum of 2 year of managing salespeople
- Working knowledge of sales tools: Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, Sales Navigator, Gong
- Demonstrated ability to develop and train sales talent
- The ability to work in a rapidly expanding, fast-paced environment
- A proven track record of success as a SaaS SDR manager at a rapid growth environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders
- Experience working in an early-stage company environment preferred
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth business environment
- Can-do attitude - happily takes on any relevant task
