Key Job Functions of the Vice President of Marketing

• Oversees the daily workflow of the department
• Hire, develop, and manage the performance of qualified team members to strengthen the department
• Lead and develop a team of Marketing professionals - providing direction and strategic vision based on brand goals, budget, and overall resources
• Mentor and develop in-house creative talent though design reviews, individual coaching, and ongoing learning opportunities
• Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy
• Support the Group X, Personal Training, Membership, Corporate Sales and Recruiting departments in achieving all revenue, unit, and sales targets
• Analyze growth strategies, market dynamics and competitive landscape by region
• Oversee the execution of all digital and local guerrilla marketing assets
• Develop tactics, increasing digital sales through accelerating traffic, increasing conversion, and expanding lead generation
• Analyze media demographics, manage media placements and promotions, negotiate rates, and monitor effectiveness through survey tools
• Evaluate and analyze the results of each campaign and provide recommendations for future enhancements
• Manage budget including negotiation with vendors, placement of orders, approval of invoices, staying on or under budget, recommending growth opportunities, and planning for future needs. Communicating invoice and receipts with accounting.
• Manage all aspects of pre-sale marketing to include, timeline for implementation and use of posters, banners, social media, and outreach
• Coordinate with leadership to maintain awareness of product roadmaps and develop key themes and messages that may be incorporated into promotional plans
• Manage marketing platforms on a daily basis
• Analyze and manage reports
• Create PowerPoints and presentations for the company
• Research and evolve marketing department related software and programs
• Manage administrative responsibilities related to marketing department software, For example managing users or assigning access where needed.
• Basic understanding of web design needed to create or maintain websites primarily hosted on squarespace and webflow.

• Strong written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive marketing strategies across multiple locations
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize activities
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize
• of performance
• Bachelor's in marketing, business, operations management, finance, or related field
• Previous experience in a Marketing Leadership position
• Photo/video skills a plus.
