Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the cargo air logistics sector.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and targets.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement long-term Sales and business development plans.
- Industry Expertise:
- Utilize in-depth knowledge and understanding of the air cargo and aviation industry to identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Develop innovative sales approaches and solutions tailored to the unique needs and requirements of the cargo air logistics market.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear goals, targets, and performance metrics for the sales team, and provide ongoing support, guidance, and training to ensure success.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop top talent to strengthen the sales team and support business objectives.
- Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, airlines, freight forwarders, and industry influencers.
- Collaborate closely with vendors and strategic partners to enhance product offerings, service capabilities, and market reach.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analytics and insights to inform strategic decision-making, optimize sales processes, and maximize revenue generation.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement or adjustment to drive continuous growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles within the logistics industry, with a strong focus on air cargo and aviation.
- Extensive network and relationships within the aviation or aerospace industry, including airlines, freight forwarders, airports, and industry associations.
- Demonstrated track record of success in driving revenue growth, exceeding sales targets, and building high-performing sales teams.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with broader business objectives and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and strategic planning, with the ability to leverage insights to drive informed decision-making and optimize sales performance.

Pay: $230,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
