- Monitor and assist with the solicitation, origination, servicing, compliance and collections of Consumer and Mortgage-related loans
- Ensure efficient operations, member service quality, and compliance
- Development of Lending policies and procedures, objectives, and goals
- Provide quality Loan training and education to staff, including product knowledge, sales and service training, coaching, and development
- Prepare and analyze reports and provide recommendations for efficiencies, improvements, or product enhancements to Senior Management
- Assist members with the loan process from start to finish
- Regularly evaluate and review credit bureau reports and loan requests as part of the underwriting and loan approval/denial process. May underwrite more complex loans based on assigned lending guidelines
- Accurately upload loans to the Core Processing and Loan Operating Systems
- Obtain and evaluate documentation such as Real Estate Appraisals, Property Search/Title Policies, Flood Determinations, and Tax Returns
- Monitor and assist with loan delinquency and the Collections process
- Frequent member and associate contact and correspondence through multiple avenues
- Drive Lending performance to achieve objectives
- Five or more years of progressive Consumer and Real Estate related lending experience in a credit union or financial institution environment required
- High School diploma or GED required; Associates, Bachelor’s, or higher degree preferred
- Sales and Service coaching experience is preferred
- Must possess excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, time-management, and managerial skills
- Resourceful and organized, working in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate computer skills and experience are required
- Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Notary, NMLS, Credit Life/Disability certifications or able to obtain timely
- Physical requirements: Sit, talk, listen for long periods of time at one workstation. May be required to wear an earpiece or headset. Sedentary work at a computer. Work independently or with limited supervision

- This is not a remote position. Some vendor interaction may be in person or off campus
- Acceptable background check is required
- Must accommodate an 8-hour shift with some flexibility (the standard shift will be 8:00 am-4:30 pm EST)
