- Ensures the efficient operation and servicing of Residential Loan portfolios to include, but not limited to, servicing and reporting of participation, GSE and GNMA loans, escrow administration, new loan-set up, flood, PMI monitoring and tracking.
- Manages, directs, and coaches Loan Servicing Team.
- Monitors and analyzes all federal, state, agency, municipal and other rgularoty requirements for Mortgage Servicing in conjunction with the Compliance team to identify new requirements that impact the mortgage loan and servicing portfolio.
- Develops and administers a comprehensive vendor management program for the oversight of the subservicing business partner including detailed quarterly and annual audits and business reviews.
- Designs and develops monthly and daily servicing performance reports and dashboards.
- Ensures that the required and development are conducted with the subservicing business partner's management and staff to develop an awareness and understanding of the company's corporate culture and customer service expectations.
- Assists in the development of cash forecasting models to budget for servicing income, subservicing costs and expenses and all advance funding requirements, and approving/disputing subservicer billing.
- Participates in beta testing new products and services with key business partners and provides detailed feedback to support ongoing research and development.
- Assists in' theoversight and management of custodians - BONY, DB, etc, to ensure collateral is safeguarded and managed accordingly.
- Performs other dusties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in servicing agency portfolios and managing subservicing business partners
- Working knowledge of Dovenmuehle's Go Anywhere (SFTP), DMI Connect, Web Direct and Servicing 360
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical skills including ability to research and understand new legislative and regulatory servicing requirements
- Excellent ability to work effectively throughout the organization and with the subservicing business partner and other outside partners
- Ability to anticipate future industry trends and developments in order to understand opportunities and possible threats impacting the performance and profitability of the Mortgage Servicing portfolio
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions
- Knowledge and ability to use typical office equipment (PC, calculator, fax machine, etc.)
