Certified Floodplain Manager

CERTIFIED FLOODPLAIN MANAGER
For over 40 years, Carter and Clark has been the largest nationwide surveying company providing builder services surveying to production home builders. We help builders build houses faster and more profitably.
We have an immediate opening for a Certified Floodplain Manager. We pay for college and additional training as well as provide opportunities for rapid advancement, including professional licensing and management career paths.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Certification as a Floodplain Manager (CFM) or Certified Floodplain Administrator (CFA) is a must.
• Extensive knowledge of floodplain regulations and ordinances in compliance with federal, state, and local authorities.
• Ability to provide technical assistance and guidance to developers, builders, and other key stakeholders.
• Review development proposals, construction plans, and permit applications to ensure floodplain are within regulations and determine mitigation measures where warranted.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to assess flood risks and interpret technical data.
• CAD experience is a plus.

The position is located at Corporate Headquarters in Lawrenceville, GA.
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $45,000.00 to $ 60,000.00 per year based on experience.
