Vice President, Marketing Director
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Location: Onsite to start, hybrid possible
Greenfield Savings Bank looking for a Vice President of Marketing to direct the organization’s marketing ventures. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the Bank’s market presence and focus on digital strategies to develop the Bank’s profile and positively impact the business.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job, able to employ unique marketing techniques. They will be a skilled marketing strategist and able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies (with a keen eye to digital platforms) to create awareness of the company’s business activities.
- Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
- Direct and produce valuable content for digital platforms.
- Manage the Bank’s presence at community events.
- Plan and execute campaigns for corporate promotion, launching of new product lines etc.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar that consolidates digital, social media, event and print campaigns.
- Develop goals and benchmarks for campaigns, monitor progress and report to senior management.
- Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements.
- Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects.
- Maintain a solid knowledge of all products and services offered at the Bank.
- Work closely with other department heads to ensure that the Bank’s marketing needs are met, and collateral is compliant with financial services regulations.
- Manage and work closely with external vendors to produce content.
- Supervise the team and provide guidance and feedback.
- Other responsibilities as needed/directed.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as Marketing Director with a robust portfolio
- Excellent leadership, project management, and organization skills
- Analytical and creative thinking
- Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
- Current best practices in all aspects of marketing
- Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics and Google AdWords)
- Customer-oriented approach with aptitude
- Professional marketing certification is a plus
- BSc/BA in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field
- Must be able to travel freely among our branches in Western Massachusetts
