The VP, Growth Marketing will own the strategy and execution of all subscription membership growth initiatives across our content portfolio, including acquisition, engagement and retention efforts and customer service. The VP of Growth Marketing will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting to the Chief Media Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of high-performing growth marketers
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to drive product adoption and subscriber growth
- Establish goals and KPIs, leveraging data and analytics to identify opportunities to improve funnel efficiency and growth segments
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle marketing programs focused on activating, engaging, retaining and monetizing users through developing ongoing value, engagement campaigns, price optimization and churn analysis
- Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization including Product, Legal, Business Intelligence, and Content
- Partner closely with the brand creative team to develop data-informed campaigns that can be regularly A/B tested across various channels & audience segments
- Use data and analytics to gain insight into user behavior and optimize marketing campaigns and funnels to maximize key growth metrics
- Build and optimize campaigns to increase member engagement on the platform
- Partner with product, engineering and design teams to build new features that increase user engagement
- Continuously test new channels, creatives and messages across customer segments to improve performance
- In partnership with the Finance team closely manage the budget, subscriber and revenue growth plan to optimize for return on investment.
- Oversee a highly productive customer service team to drive user satisfaction
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience leading Growth Marketing preferably at a high-growth content, media or consumer internet company
- Subscription services model/bundled services from start to finish
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to making decisions
- Proven track record to scale and optimize user acquisition and retention campaigns
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across functions
- Knowledge of Growth Marketing best practices across paid channels, SEO, email and lifecycle campaigns
- Experience with affiliate marketing preferred

Remote jobs that can be performed in Boulder, Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $175,000 to $220,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and many more.
